The panda paintings shall be created based on the sculptured prototype pattern as designated by the Organizing Committee without any limitation of material, form, style and type. While embodying artistic creativity, the works shall fully show the natural characteristics and cultural brands of panda itself, be rich in the sense of fashion and conform to the value of artistic derivation and development as well as social identification.

The Design for the Panda Painting Works Collection shall contain the work image, name and design specification based on the sculptured prototype pattern of panda as designated by the Committee, and conform to the following requirements:

This activity will collect and select from bidding works. For each application, the applicant shall simultaneously submit the Application Form for the Panda Painting Works Collection, Commitment of the Creator for the Panda Painting Works Collection, Design for the Panda Painting Works Collection and ID documents. The text parts of all the applications shall be prepared in Chinese or English (subject to Chinese in case of any ambiguity for using both languages). Application Form for the Panda Painting Works Collection

It is a necessary procedure for the applicant to fill in the Application Form for the Panda Painting Works Collection. The information filled in this form shall agree with the facts, otherwise, the bidding work shall be disqualified.

The applicant shall have the civil right and capacity for civil conduct to fill in and (or) sign all the documents specified in the Rules and to execute relevant obligations.

In case of any applicant who has no or limited capacity for civil conduct, his/her work shall be disqualified unless his/her legal representative has signed and approved all the documents required by the Rules.

Commitment of the Creator for the Panda Painting Works Collection

The applicants must sign the Commitment of the Creator for the Panda Painting Works Collection. In case of any multi-created work, all the relevant creators shall sign the commitment jointly. If the applicant is an institution, the commitment shall be signed by the authorized representative and sealed with authorized seal.

Design for the Panda Painting Works Collection

The creator of the Design for the Panda Painting Works Collection shall fill the relevant information in the Application Form for the Panda Painting Works Collection and indicate the consistent information on bottom right corner of the bidding work.

ID Documents

The applicant shall submit the following legal and valid documents which may fully and correctly prove his/her identity:

(1) Natural person: ID card, household register, passport or any other official proof with equal authenticity.

(2) Entity: registration document or any other official proof with equal authenticity.

(3) The applicant shall submit the copy of his/her ID document.

Besides the pattern, each work shall contain a text note with about 200 words, which shall be amplified and printed in A3 (420mm×297mm) paper for the proper dimensions in the indoor exhibition application environment, and electronic text shall be attached. The text note is intended to illustrate the design idea concept and implication of the work.

In the work collecting stage, the relevant design sketch or photochrome shall be submitted for any sculpture work, each with 4 design sketches or photos in different views from the front, back and two sides. The electronic photo shall be no smaller than 4M with a resolution ratio of no lower than 300dpi.

In the work collecting stage, the scanned jpg format picture may be submitted for any graphic painting. And the picture shall be no larger than 5MB with a resolution ratio of no lower than 300dpi. Otherwise, the work shall be disqualified.

Dimension requirements of the finished works:

Dimension requirements of the sculpture works: 30cm*20cm or 80cm*45cm.

Dimension requirements of the colored two-dimensional works: 38cm*26.5cm; 53cm*38cm.
